The free basic calculator turns a Gregorian birth date into nine numbers linked to Major Arcana cards. It is a reflection tool, not a prediction or a complete extended matrix. You can calculate without signing in. Optional AI chat is a separate choice.
Choose a date
Open the birthday picker and choose a year, month and day. The year field offers a quick jump instead of scrolling through every month. Dates from 1900 to the current local day are supported. February follows the actual Gregorian leap-year rules. Clear or change the date to discard the previous chart, then calculate again.
Read the nine positions
After calculation, the center position is selected first. Tap or use the keyboard to choose any of the nine circular nodes. Each shows its position, card, fixed reflection prompt and arithmetic. These short notes are prepared text; they are not an AI answer. For the public example 1987-11-28, the center is 11, Justice.
Read an example chart
Here is the full basic chart for the public example date November 28, 1987. It is a public demonstration date, not taken from any real user's record.
| Point | Position | Number | Card |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | Day (left) | 10 | Wheel of Fortune |
| B | Month (top) | 11 | Justice |
| C | Year (right) | 7 | The Chariot |
| D | Foundation (bottom) | 10 | Wheel of Fortune |
| E | Center | 11 | Justice |
| F | Day + Month (upper left) | 21 | The World |
| G | Month + Year (upper right) | 18 | The Moon |
| H | Year + Foundation (lower right) | 17 | The Star |
| I | Foundation + Day (lower left) | 20 | Judgement |
One way to read it is from the inside out:
- Start at the center. E is the thread that ties the chart together. Here it is 11, Justice, with the theme of fairness and accountability. Its prompt asks where a balanced, honest look could change your next decision.
- Move to the four sides. A, B and C come straight from the day, month and year; D, the foundation, adds those three. In this example A and D are both 10, Wheel of Fortune, so cycles and change appear in both everyday expression and the grounding lesson.
- Finish with the corners. F, G, H and I each sit where two neighbouring points meet. The World at F, for instance, links how you show up day to day (A) with what inspires you (B).
Notice repeats, such as 11 at B and E, as something worth reflecting on. A repeat does not make a stronger prediction.
Understand the calculation
Values above 22 are reduced by adding their digits repeatedly. For example, 28 becomes 2 + 8 = 10. Values from 1 to 22 stay unchanged. Here, 8 is Strength, 11 is Justice and 22 is The Fool, corresponding to card 0 in the deck. Expand the calculation details to check all nine formulas. Other methods can produce different charts.
Choose whether to ask AI
Choose the AI option only if you want a conversation about the calculated chart. Opening the panel does not generate an answer: write a question and press Send. AI uses the existing AI Chat allowance and account rules, including sign-in and required email verification. A long question must be shortened explicitly, not silently cut. Errors, stop and retry guidance appear in the same chat panel. The birth-date field is not sent automatically; your chosen matrix context and everything you put in the question are submitted. Messages and replies join your shared Seren history.
Print a worksheet
After calculating, Print / Save PDF opens the browser’s printing flow. Choose Save as PDF if your browser offers it. The worksheet contains the chart, all nine positions, formulas and space for notes. Your browser controls paper size and output destination. AI replies are not part of this basic worksheet. You choose where to save the PDF in your browser's print dialog; AI Tarot does not automatically save the worksheet to your account on this site.
A short printed reflection exercise
- Calculate your chart and choose Print / Save PDF.
- Circle the center and read its reflection prompt.
- Circle one side point and one corner that feel relevant right now.
- Next to each, write one sentence about where you notice that theme today, and one small step for the coming week.
- Look at the page again a week later and note what changed. Keep what helps and let go of what doesn't fit.
